In conversation with Lisa Van Dusen just before the Golden State Warriors began practice for the 2011-2012 season, Lin (6'3") talks about playing with his former Paly teammates during the NBA lockout and shares what matters most to him, including his deep faith. He muses: "It's a business. Anything can happen."

Lin's faith was tested a few days later when the Warriors cut him on the first official day of practice. Lin responded to the cut by Tweeting Psalm 46:10. Within a week, however, the Houston Rockets had picked him up
